Here’s To Jen

Jen is a young lady who understands customer service. She is a hard worker who strives to do a great job. But there is more to Jen than being a hard worker. She has what all great leaders have… a never-ending curiosity. When we met, Jen asked about our company. She then immediately researched our name and came back with several questions about what we do and why.

It is easy to say that we have not been given opportunities in life. While it is true that opportunities are not the same for everyone, saying that we have no opportunities is choosing to have victim mentality. Curiosity allows us to pursue big and small opportunities. It may result in nothing, or it could lead to life changing events.

Being curious means taking the chance to learn new things and expose ourselves to ideas that may challenge us. It means taking a risk to stop assuming and start trying. It is learning from the past but refusing to allow it to define our future. It is pursuing growth with a determination to overcome obstacles.

Curiosity is not for everyone. But, for those like Jen, who want to grow and become more, it is essential. Be honest with yourself and explore if you are content with assumptions or if you are curious to grow deeper and stronger as a leader and as a person. When we challenge ourselves to be better, we will make a difference.
